Boys, Toys & Women

Well I gotta admit in some way I'll never grow up

A little while ago I went to Newmarket to get my Bike serviced

While waiting for it I went for a walk in the town
now I've been there before and I always walked past this toyshop

This time I went in and I loved it
I felt like a little boy at Xmas

They have all those oldschool army toys
tanks, little soldiers with bazookas ect.

That made me think
about us men and toys
we always need and will have our toys
you get older and they get bigger
and more expansive

We still buy toycars of the ones we dream of and
may never can afford
but we have one in our vitrine

Some still 'play' with toy trains, remote controlled things....

and some lucky ones have the real thing
the real cars....

And yes in some way that is also
with women

Yes we dream of that star and this singer
but realistically we will never even meet them
but we do have that Playboy pictures in our garage, locker....


There are some goals in my life

and yes I am very materialistic
and yes one day I will have that car, that house and that bike I want

But i am also realistic that I will never be with that women

So I am happy with what I have and stick to it

....... but I am gonna buy that car..............

Back to it

I like to be out in the nature
I got no particular preference
Mountains have it for me though

Just love to sit and watch
on my own
breath the fresh and clean air
see some animals

This is when I get my best ideas
will it be for stuff I write
for my work or
my live

Away from phone receptions
stupid peoples
and their stupid shops
just me and the nature

Friends & Buddies

There are many
well at least for most of us

You got the ones who are around most days
the ones you hang with
there also work friends

they are all good company
and fun

some are a necessity against
boredom and loneliness

There are also those
friends from good old times
the ones you used to play with
the ones you gone to school with
you grown up with
the ones you might went to war with
gone through thick and thin

some you haven't seen in years
lost contact with
but you know if you want you can find them

and

you know that whatever, however and whenever
you can knock on their door
and they will be there for you

These are your true friends
even if they not around

There are lots of friends I miss
some I found
some I need to find
and some have passed

I miss you guys!!

No place like home

Well these days
you may live somewhere nice
have a nice place
you settled down
have
your friends around maybe your family
or you got your own family now

but there is no place like
the place you grown up you're born

It might be to most boring city, town or village
maybe even horrible for some
but for you its beautiful

You walk down these old streets
and long forgotten memories will return
like reading a book you haven't touched in years

the place where you used to play with your friends
you used to hang out as a teen

the place where you first smoked
you got drunk
you had your first fight

your old school

the place you used to live

the place here you first kissed a girl

the old tree or bench still having
the heart with the initials of your first love
carved in

you love it no matter how it is now or it was
or it is to anybody else

I love my old town
I always will

I even got a tattoo of the towns crest

how many people through the years
bullshitted their way into my life

people I never met wanting to be my friend
The stories they come up with
i could fill books

I don't need to proof myself
to anyone apart myself

Happy Dog

Is amazing

How simple it is

to make a dog happy

Simple things in life

Let him run free
he is so happy going crazy
just running
chasing birds, squirrels ect.

and smelling everywhere
and marking his 'hood'

Than some nice food
happy

A chest-rub
happy

meeting another dog
happy
meeting another dog from the opposite sex
priceless

I wish I could be that easy

Rain

I love rain

in the summer
it washes off the dust n' dirt
the fresh smell
smell of wet grass
wet tarmac

than the sun cuts through

but

rain in the autumn
is horrible
cold n' dark
especially
in London

the dump and
the cold
creeps into your joints
