Never thought it’ll be like this

But I think of you all the time

When I close my eyes I can see your smile

When I wake up, before I open my eyes I can smell your hair

When I stop what I do, I think what is she doing

When I don’t hear from you I feel empty

There was a time I wanted to forget you

I even tried to hate you

But I never could hate somebody so nice

And I could never erase you from my heart

The best things in life are the unexpected joys

You never think they’ll happen

But all of a sudden

They do

Sometimes you think it’s all over

And the next thing you know you right in the middle of it

You don’t even know how it happened

You just know it is here and its fantastic, awesome

With age comes the wisdom to have done and seen many things

But there is always something new in life

Sometimes bad,

Sometimes good

No one sees it

Only I feel it

Nobody knows

My inner pain

It kills me inside

I am too stupid to cry

To proud to admit

My inner pain

To be alone

Not be loved

To have failed

My inner pain

It scares me

Maybe one day I go to far

I cross that line

My inner pain

It makes me want to get hurt

On the outside

Scars to remind me

My inner pain

Won’t let me go

It follows me

It’s my shadow

My inner pain

I want to kill you

Last night I felt lonely

So I sat in the garden

Watching the nice clear sky

Full of shining stars

So beautiful

Each one of them reminded me of you

So beautiful

And I felt better

You are my little shining star
